If it has been a long time since you’ve been to a worship gathering, the people of Mission Liberty Hill Lutheran Church are thinking about you and keeping you in our prayers. There’s already enough for you to be thinking about when you’re visiting a church for the first time. We hope that getting some of this “stuff” out of the way not only encourages you to join us for worship, but also helps you connect with the hope and encouragement that God has for you. It is our prayer that your time at Mission Liberty Hill is uplifting for you and that you meet our Lord Jesus through word and song during worship.
While not a native Texan, originally from the Pacific Northwest, Pastor Paul got here as quickly as he could. You can find Pastor Paul regularly in the community as a spectator at Liberty Hill Panther football and volleyball games as well as cross country and track meets, and supporting the Liberty Hill Panther Marching Band. He also is a coach in the Liberty Hill Community Basketball League. Pastor Paul and his wife, Debbie, are the proud parents of three school-aged children.
You may reach Pastor Paul via email at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Mission Liberty Hill Lutheran Church, located Liberty Hill, Texas, was originally founded in October 2009 as a Bible study group, led by Pastor Jim Craver of Zion Lutheran Church in Walburg.
Our first worship services were held in May 2010 under the leadership of Pastor Wilbern Michalk, also from Walburg.
In July 2012 Pastor Paul Frerichs was installed as our first full-time pastor. In June 2013 Mission Liberty Hill was chartered as a congregation of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod.
Mission Liberty Hill exists to reach out to those who do not yet know Jesus Christ or what He has done for them through His suffering, death, and resurrection. We understand that we are called to live as disciples of Jesus and to be faithful to Him as we share His Good News message.
