Children's & Youth Ministry Team

Mission:
This team will be involved in planning Sunday school and other activities for the children and youth of the church.

Past Events:
Back to School Party, Youth Fellowship to Austin Parks & Pizza, Service Project to the Bertram Nursing Home, and Sunday School Classes

Looking Ahead:
We now have a dedicated area for the children and youth at the church, as well as new teaching materials for Sunday School. People are needed to help teach on Sunday mornings and plan future events. Upcoming events are Super Bowl Sub Sales, Vacation Bible School, and more visits to the nursing home.

Outreach Team

Mission:
The purpose of this team is to contact visitors and others who show interest in our
church. This team will also spread the news of our mission with others.

Past Events:
This team has been responsible for greeting all regular and visiting families as they arrive at church; sending post cards to new visitors; calling those without an email address on file; sending e-cards or standard cards to those celebrating important dates; sending "we've missed you" notes to those who have been absent for several weeks; and checking Liberty Hill newspapers, meeting with the mayor, etc. for community activities in which Mission Liberty Hill could participate.

Looking ahead:
In addition to the tasks above, the team plans to strengthen the contact with visitors; organize monthly Bible Study groups for men and women and build a "Mission Partner" directory after the Feb 27th Orientation Meeting.

Fellowship Team

Mission:
The purpose of this team is to plan activities within the church in order to create fellowship among members.

Potluck Dinners, Ice Cream Social, Family Game Night

Community Service Team

Mission:
The purpose of this team is to identify needs in the community and serve the community based on these needs.

Past Events:
Community Easter Egg Hunt, Fall Festival Booth at Liberty Hill High School, Can Drives, Partners in Reading, Handing Out Water Bottles at BBQ Cookoff, Liberty Hill Christmas Festival, Weekly Fitness Classes
