This Sunday, we received the announcement that Rev. Paul Frerichs has accepted our call to be the pastor of MLH. This is exciting news for us!
Our evening Bible study is about to begin. I will be providing the refreshments for the first gathering. We are studying the book of Esther and have a study guide. I still have three copies should anyone need one – $3.00. Please read the book of Esther before our first meeting if possible.
I look forward to seeing any and all who can attend and the opportunity to share Christian fellowship and study the Word of God together.

Mission Liberty Hill and Zion, Walburg on Wednesday, March 14 voted to extend the Call to Rev. Paul Frerichs of Portland Oregon to be the first resident Pastor of Mission Liberty Hill. We pray that Pastor Frerichs will be led to accept our Call and join us at Mission Liberty Hill.
Pastor Frerichs had acknowledged receiving the Call. He writes, “It is with great joy that I acknowledge receipt of the Call to be Pastor of Mission Liberty Hill Lutheran Church in Liberty Hill, Texas. I am honored and humbled that the Lord has seen fit to lead you to extend this Call to me, and I pray the blessings and leadership of almighty God as I give this Call the consideration that it is due. Please know that you are in my prayers as I consider this Call, and I ask that you keep Good Shepherd, my family and me in yours. I pray the Lord’s richest blessings on you and may that He bless the Call process.”
